Before the treatment

-24 hours prior to your procedure, please avoid drinking alcohol, coffee, energy drinks, caffeinated soda, teas or herbs. This will help minimize any oozing/bleeding or swelling during and after the procedure.

-Please do not work out the day of the procedure.

- Gently exfoliate the skin on your brows 2 days before your appointment. This will help provide a clean canvas to work on by removing any dead skin and result in better pigment insertion.

-Three days before your procedure, avoid taking Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen or blood thinners, unless medically necessary. Tylenol is fine.

-Avoid heavy sunlight, especially sunburn, three days before your procedure.

-No waxing, threading, or tinting within one week of your appointment.

-Three to four weeks before procedure, do not have any chemical peels, microdermabrasions, mesotherapy, botox, fillers, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation.

-You must be off Accutane or any prescribed acne medications for 1 year.

-You must be off Retin-A or Retinols 7 days prior to appointment.

-DO NOT USE growth enhancement products (such as Latisse, Revitabrow, Grande lash) one month prior.

After the treatment

WHAT TO EXPECT

The initial recovery (peeling period) is approximately 7-14 days. Your brows will lightly scab over and start to flake off. It will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. Your brows will appear lighter, uneven, or patchy. This is normal as color will resurface during your 3rd to 4th week. Final results will be seen by the end of 4th week following your procedure.

Proper aftercare is important to achieve the best results. However, even with proper aftercare, it is hard to determine how each individual’s body will retain the pigment. This is the reason why a touchup is recommended (for Microblading 4-10 weeks, for Ombre Powder 4-12 weeks).

HEALING SCHEDULE

Day 1: Light swelling & redness immediately after the procedure is normal, will subside within 24 hrs.

Day 2 - 7: Eyebrow pigment/color will appear darker as they start to heal. Brows will lightly scab over and flake off. Do not pick at the scabs as it will remove the pigments.

Day 8 - 14: Brows should have completed peeling process, leaving you with a much lighter color.

This is NORMAL, so do not worry.

Day 20 - 30: The implanted pigment will begin to resurface as your brows fully heal. This will bring back more color to your brows allowing us to see the result of the initial session.

Day 30 - 60: During this time, your follow up session should take place to perfect your final result. Additional sessions may be required at additional cost to achieve your desired look.

AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

BE SURE TO THOROUGHLY WASH YOUR HANDS WHEN HANDLING YOUR EYEBROWS

3-6 hours after treatment, gently clean your eyebrows with water and gentle soap (cetaphil) to remove all lymph and previously applied cream.

Pat dry with a CLEAN towel. The next 24hrs if you see clear liquid (lymph) oozing from brows, pat brows with clean napkin. NO WATER contact on brows for the next 7 days. If your brows are super dry & itchy you can apply a very thin layer of A&D ointment to relieve itchiness. You only need one tiny tear drop size of ointment which is enough for both brows. Ointment will be provided to you. On Day 8 and forward, you can gently wash brows 2X a day (no rubbing, no scrubbing, only gently pat). DO NOT pick at the scabs. You must let the scabs fall off on their own. Picking at the scabs will remove pigment and you will heal patchy.

Avoid:

  • Sweating

  • Makeup or products on eyebrows

  • Excessive ointment

  • Prolong direct sun exposure

  • Tanning Beds/Spray Tans

  • Facials/Chemical peels

  • Sleeping on the face

  • Excessive water contact

  • Saltwater / Chlorine

  • Picking at the scabs

Once completely healed you may resume your regular cleansing and makeup routine. Sun exposure,     excessive sweating, extremely oily skin, immune system and improper aftercare may cause the pigment to fade prematurely. Always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your healed eyebrows when exposed to the sun. The better you take care of your brows, the better your results will be.

An occasional slight healing itch is normal. If you suspect a problem is developing, the first thing to do is switch the type of ointment you are using. The ointment is often causing the problem.

Signs and Symptoms of Infection: Constant intense itching, abnormal thick yellow discharge, yellow crust, hot burning pain, lumps, bumps, blisters, redness, swelling, and tenderness of the procedure site. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please seek medical care.

LASH LIFT

Before the treatment:

Must have no eye makeup on upon arrival. Please be aware that using waterproof makeup can affect the lash lift. So do not wear these formulas at least 2 days beforehand.

Arrive to your appointment on time. Or if you need to take the makeup off just before your appointment as your coming straight from another errand you should arrive at least 5 - 10 min beforehand.

If you wear contacts, it must be removed for the treatment. So please bring a spare or glasses with you.

After the treatment:

Within the first 24 hours:

  • Keep your lashes dry and free of eye makeup that can disrupt the lash setting

  • If you have purchased the Elleeplex Advanced Formula apply once at night before bed

  • Avoid hot steamy showers, saunas; refrain from all heat sources including ovens, hair dryers even lighting a cigarette as that to can affect the lash lift

  • Avoid any oil-based creams and lotions near the eye area

  • Avoid any shampoo/conditioner to get into the eye areas this can encourage the tint to weaken or the the perm to relax and lose that beautiful lift.

  • For the first 48 hours please avoid using strong eye makeup removers as this can strip the tint colour.

After 24 hours:

  • You may go about your usual daily routine

  • Apply the Elleeplex Advanced Formula before mascara and before bed

DO NOT:

  • Wear waterproof mascara as removing these formula requires a bit more elbow grease which can weaken/damage your natural lash. Always be gentle with your lashes for longevity when removing any makeup/cleaning/cleansing.

  • Rub or play with your lashes. If irritation occurs rinse the eye area well with cool water and apply a clean cold wet pad/cloth to the eye area or consult with a doctor.

  • Sleep on your lashes (especially within the first 24 hours as it will kink and set the way you have slept on them).
